Removed from the historical roots of fine cabinet making, David J Yoder ( Quality Wood
Products LLC ) may seem like an unlikely candidate to undertake the difficult task of preserving
New England antiquities . Formally manufactured by J. L. Treharn
Quality Wood Products LLC was Founded by John my dad and brother Delbert in 1996
In a small woodshop in Central Ohio, John Yoder taught his son a deep respect and admi-
ration for the line of Arts and Crafts , Shaker , Country Furniture and Contemporary furniture line.
From my father, I started my lessons in the woodworking shop on the home place, honing
my skills for nearly fourteen years . In 2003 I bought haf of Dad’s share and in 2008 the other
half. Then in 2010 Delbert wanted to pursue his interest in agriculture field then I decided to pur-
sue furniture-making as a full time endeavor.
In January of 2017 I was told about J. L. Treharn closing their manufacturing facility of a
nice collection of fine reproduction Furniture . Talking a little bit with Jerry and Sherry and Mi-
chael about the product line . QWP decided that it would be a good complementary for there ex-
isting line of products that are currently being produced
True to it’s heritage, the craftsmen of J.L. Treharn & Co. have worked to the best of their
ability to construct furniture of superior quality that will be passed on proudly from generation to
generation. Quality Wood Products will now try to continue to construct furniture of the superior
quality that you came to trust from the J. L. Treharn & Co.
