When Elam Esh began building furniture in 1990 for a neighbor’s woodworking shop, he studied furniture journals and built his own designs in his spare time. Soon, demand for his designs led to a start-up business in a barn on his father’s farm. At the suggestion of a friend, Elam found that his interest in balance and perception was a good match for the clean lines of Mission and Shaker style furniture. Over twenty years later, the Christian morals and hard work ethic of growing up on the farm continue to be the guiding principles behind the Country Classic Collection, delivering strong value and honesty in both our designs and relations. Today, the Country Classic Collection continues to grow with a beautiful selection of Mission, Shaker, Contemporary, and Modern styles, Amish handcrafted in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country.
