Meet Our Team Andy Stoltzfus Owner I purchased the Showcase in 2010 as a way to develop a financial plan that would allow me to create a lifestyle centered around my home and family. I love gardening, as well as baking and cooking. My signature dish is “Dad’s goulash”, a mixture of whatever is available in the pantry at the time. According to my family, sometimes it’s good, and sometimes it’s not so good. Other favorite pastimes include reading and making things in my woodworking shop. I also enjoy scootering the 18.6 miles to and from the Showcase a few days a week. It gives me a lot of time to think, and plan how we can better help our vendors and customers become successful. Davy Stoltzfus Owner I was raised on a small dairy farm in Honey Brook, PA, along with my six brothers and a sister. Although it was a wonderful childhood, milking cows was not for me. Instead, I found I enjoyed building things. I now own DG Stoltzfus Excavating and Construction, and love making other peoples’ ideas and dreams come true. Being part of the Showcase has given me another extended family, where I can be myself, enjoy great times, as well as learn about myself, business, and life in general. My favorite pastime is exploring God’s creation near our house, splashing in the creek, and walking with our dogs through the woods. Benuel Stoltzfus Warehouse Manager My favorite pastimes include reading, making items for my small games business, and working at the Showcase. Because I like to read so much, keeping the supply of books coming is sometimes difficult. Scootering to the Showcase with my dad keeps me in shape, but I also enjoy driving over with the horse. Joe Fisher Owner Choosing one favorite pastime is difficult. My woodworking business cannot be considered a pastime, but I certainly enjoy it a lot. I have some guinea pigs that are fun to watch. Taking nature walks definitely has to be on the list, especially when the plants and flowers are colorful. I love to fish, fresh-water mostly, but the couple of times I went deep-sea fishing were simply great. Omar Esh Owner One of my favorite pastimes is building furniture, even though that’s my main source of income. Even on vacation, I like to visit stores that carry my line or ones that might in the future. Otherwise I enjoy the outdoors. Looking at the scenery and seeing the various animals gives me a sense of God’s creativity and goodness. One of the best vacations I have had, was when we toured the Smokey Mountains. I also love to fish and hunt, when I have the time. Dave Lapp Operations Manager Having grown up on a dairy farm, I’m used to fixing things around the house, and I enjoy it. One of my latest renovation jobs was transforming an old welding area into a recreation room for youth groups. As our needs change, I like to remodel kitchen and other cabinets, as well as move walls. It’s also fun assisting my wife in her landscaping efforts. When taking a break from those activities, I like to go fishing, both fresh-water and deep-sea. Dan Henry Office Manager I consider the Lancaster County Showcase almost as part of our family, since my wife, Boni, also helps out part-time. We live about 6 miles away on a lovely 2-acre lot in Strasburg Township. My former pastimes included bowling, basketball, & fast-pitch softball. Now I enjoy gardening as well as cutting, splitting, and stacking firewood for our wood stove. I love being outside in the beauty of God’s amazing creation. It’s exciting working at the Showcase, because I have the opportunity to show the love of Jesus to both manufacturers & customers through kindness, mercy, and grace. I also serve at our church, am a co-leader of our Drop Off Center for Operation Christmas Child, and volunteer for the Solanco Food Bank.
